If a person is looking for a career with Subway, here are some things that they should know.
Positions Available- First, if they’d like a position with Subway in the retail stores, then the positions are going to be as a sandwich maker, or as a shift manager. If a person is just starting out, then they will work as a sandwich maker. The sandwich maker is responsible for creating the sandwiches, prepping the work area, slicing the meats and the vegetables, and keeping the store clean.
Minimum Age- The minimum age to work with Subway is 16 years old. Of course, if a person wants to start working for Subway when they’re 16 years old, they will have to abide by any state and federal rules regarding students working for an employer. Managers have to be sure to be compliant with these laws, so that the students aren’t overworked, or missing any school time.
Hours Of Operation- The hours of operation typically are from 7 AM, to around 10 PM. The store is operated in shifts, so that a variety of people can work during the hours of operation.

Subway History And Background- Subway was started around the late 80s. So it was created in response to people who wanted to experience the sandwiches that came from the northeast coast of the U.S. The Subways are franchised stores, and they are located all over the U.S., and around the world. Not only do they create sub sandwiches, but they also create pizzas, and salads as well. Subway has built a brand on not only creating tasty food, but also creating healthy food. Subway is known for helping a gentleman named Jared lose hundreds of pounds by simply eating Subway sandwiches. They pride themselves in creating food that is not only extremely filling, but is also created with half the calories of the other fast food brands.
